UMVIMThe Center for Missional Outreach encourages all North Texas Conference churches to work with United Methodist Volunteers In Mission (UMVIM) to plan and organize their mission trips. This organization exists to help you with insurance, training, and location possibilities.

The purpose of UMVIM is to enable the participation of United Methodists throughout the world in global mission volunteer programs so that affirming, empowering and trusting relationships are established.

Finding a Mission Trip Site

The General Board of Global Ministries maintains mission trip lists. There is a 45-page document that lists U.S. domestic location projects by state. There are links to find a volunteer placement for an individual or a team as well as a guide for how to volunteer.
